WASHINGTON -- The Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) Board of Directors elected executives from Akzo Nobel and Ecolab to serve as 2008 Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively, at the Board's meeting in Boca Raton, Florida.
Frank Sherman, President and General Manager of Akzo Nobel's Surfactants Business Unit, is the new Board Chair. Succeeding Mr. Sherman as Vice Chair is Susan Nestegard, Senior Vice President, Research, Development, Engineering & Chief Technical Officer, Ecolab Inc.
