Phoenix, Ariz. -- Tom Brady is the only NFL player who has been on the NFL's injury report every week since the start of the 2005 season. He also has started 126 consecutive games since Sept. 30, 2001, the day he began saving Bill Belichick's head coaching career.
Like everything else in Belichick's fiefdom, rules apply only to others. So, week after week, Belichick gets to smirk, shrug and mumble as he makes a mockery of the injury report by listing Brady as "probable [shoulder]."
The only difference this week, perhaps, is Belichick will list Brady as "probable [ankle]" for Super Bowl XLII. Then again, it would ...
