AN AFRICAN man who racially abused a white detective has been put under curfew.
Gambian Bouyagu Toure, 24, was arrested in court following an outburst aimed at Wakefield magistrates on November 20, about his family being "murdered" by people from this country.
He continued his tirade as he was escorted to the police station.
Toure, of Clarendon Street, Wakefield, also tried to spit at DC Delia Lenihan and racially abused her.
He was found guilty last month of racially aggravated disorderly conduct, after a trial. He returned to Wakefield Magistrates' Court on Tuesday for sentencing.
