Onondaga County Judge William Walsh has been overturned by an appellate court more than a dozen times in the past three months for his handling of drug resentencing cases.
An unapologetic Walsh said last week that if the appellate court was looking for him to reduce the amount of prison time the defendants have to serve, it won't be any happier with how he has re-resentenced the cases.
"I just really don't understand the reason they have given," Walsh said of the state Supreme Court Appellate Division in Rochester.
