PROVIDENCE - If the Sharks don't make the Calder Cup playoffs this season, the cause of death will be power-play anemia.
Worcester was 0 for 3 here yesterday, but really lost the game when it failed to convert on a four-minute advantage midway through third period with Providence captain Nate Thompson off for a double minor.
"Our power play didn't get it done," coach Roy Sommer said. "That was the bottom line, and it's too bad, because we played a pretty good game up to that point. We've just got to do better."
