SAN ANTONIO -- Harte-Hanks, Inc. (NYSE:HHS), a worldwide, direct and targeted marketing company, today announced that Dean Blythe has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. Completing the management succession plan previously announced on July 31, 2007, Blythe is succeeding Richard Hochhauser, who has been CEO since 2002 and with the company since 1975.
In addition to his new role as CEO, Blythe will continue to serve as President of Harte-Hanks. Blythe joined Harte-Hanks in 2001 as the company's General Counsel and subsequently became its Chief Financial Officer in 2003. In August 2007, he was named President of Harte-Hanks.
