Appointment illustrates breadth of new businesses and growth for the firm
CHICAGO -- Citadel Investment Group, L.L.C. announced that Gerald Beeson has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of the firm effective February 1. Beeson joined Citadel in 1993 and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer.
As COO, Beeson will oversee a number of Citadel's businesses, including Citadel Alternative Asset Management (CAAM), Citadel's fund of hedge funds business; Citadel Solutions, Citadel's hedge fund administration business; and Citadel's reinsurance investments. He will also be responsible for key corporate functions, including Treasury, Finance, Human Capital ...
