APOPKA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 1995--Former Orlando Mayor Bill Frederick has been elected to serve on the board of directors of Sprint/United Telephone-Florida.

Frederick, who served as mayor of Orlando from 1980 through 1992, is currently president and chief executive officer of The Frederick Enterprise Group. He was previously a partner in the Holland & Knight law firm from 1992 to 1995.
