Hundreds of jobs are to be created in Chorley as the area's theme park opens for the season.

Camelot Theme Park, in Charnock Richard, needs several hundred people aged over 16 years to help run the popular park which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

A recruitment day is being held at the theme park on Saturday, February 9, between 10am and 3pm for anyone interested in a job for the 2008 season which starts on Good Friday, March 21.

They need ride operators, catering and retail staff for the many restaurants and gift shops and also cleaners.

All applicants will be considered regardless of experience as on-park ...
