A pensioner swam the equivalent of the English Channel to raise funds for charity.
Josephine Jackson took part in the challenge by swimming regularly each week in local leisure centre pools.
The 71-year-old swam 1,500 lengths - matching the 22 miles across the English Channel - and raised over [pounds sterling]330 for Aspire, which supports people with spinal injuries.
