WARSAW. FEBRUARY 6. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - A report on new regulations for the gas sector is near completion, according to the Economy Ministry. Once it is published gas monopolist PGNiG and distribution companies will be able to present new gas tariff proposals.
"This announcement does not mean that an increase in tariffs will take place in March," DI BRE Bank analyst Kamil Kliszcz wrote Wednesday. "If the company [PGNiG] gained acceptance from the [energy regulatory body] URE, for higher prices in Q1 this would, according to us, be positively viewed by the market."
