A PIONEERING scheme is to be launched in Beverley to help people keep fit and get fresh air while working on a community gardening project.
The Plot 32 initiative - launched by Beverley Town Council, East Riding of Yorkshire Council's sport and play development service and the Beverley Renaissance Partnership - is looking for people to take part.
Plot 32, in Kitchen Lane, Beverley, has been designated as a community allotment where the new 'outdoor gym' can take place.
Participants can be outside in the fresh air, help with digging, weeding, planting, clearing and conservation.
