A workmanlike Diss performance earned a victory in this local derby and secured them a three-point cushion in the league's second place berth.
This game began with both sides needing to win, but for different reasons.
Diss were determined to secure their league position in the play-off place, while Norwich wanted to get into the top half of the table.
Norwich kicked off and Diss gained possession straight away.
Their forwards secured good ball and a promising attack started to develop. Unfortunately a trend of kicking away possession was established which seemed to affect both sides in equal measure.
