Jharkhand annual plan fixed at Rs 8,015 crore
New Delhi, Feb 8 (PTI) The Planning Commission today approved a Rs 8,015-crore Annual Plan for Jharkhand for 2008-09, up from Rs 6,600 crore in the current financial year.
The Annual Plan for Jharkhand was finalised at a meeting between state Chief Minister Madhu Koda and Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia here.
The centre would also provide additional assistance of Rs 50 crore for projects of special interest to the state, an official release said.
