NORFOLK -- NORFOLK - Mae Belle Jordan, 90, of the 5500 block of Berryhill Road, died Feb. 5, 2008, in her residence.
She retired as a stock auditor for Chase Bank, New York, after more than 25 years. Born in Waxhaw, N.C., she later moved to High Point, N.C., and was educated there. She was a member of Thessolonian Baptist Church, Bronx, N.Y., for more than 40 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Bettye Jean Collins of Hampton, Anita J. Elliott of Norfolk; two sisters, Mattie Lloyd of Henderson, N.C., Viola Wells (Vernon) of Hampton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; nieces, ...
