The first bell rings at Any High School, U.S.A., warning students they have two minutes to get wherever they're going. Goodbyes are whispered, hands are hurriedly unclasped and teen couples scurry on their separate ways.
Public displays of affection, known as PDA, are a common fixture at high schools - and middle schools - around the nation, including here in South Hampton Roads. Love it or hate it, it's a part of teenage life. And, with Valentine's Day fast approaching, romance is in the air, and with it a need to show the world you're in love.
