PASQUOTANK COUNTY [bar] Elizabeth City State University will be holding events open to the public during Black History Month.
On Saturday, an opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the gallery of the Fine Arts Center for an exhibit featuring works by Ricky Calloway of Fort Valley State University. The exhibit will continue throughout the month.
At 11:30 a.m. Saturday, NASA astronaut Bernard Harris will present "An Astronaut's View: The Power of the Dream."
