HIGH POINT, N.C. - Retailers shopping at the International Home Furnishings Market here say naturals and greens, as well as customized programs and coordinated collections, are at the top of their area rug shopping lists. The market started Oct. 19 and will wrap up Oct. 27.
A number of trends hot at past markets will continue to ascend, predicted Jerry Fisher, senior buyer for area rugs and mattresses, JC Penney. "We are doing especially well with natural colors and sisal looks," said Fisher. "We are looking at extensions to this look in High Point. We're also doing well with green.
