A year after being thwarted in his attempt to erect a media empire with Tele-Communications Inc. through QVC Inc., Barry Diller is back in bed with John Malone.
The former Fox Broadcasting Co. president is poised to take charge of Home Shopping Network Inc. and launch a new network on UHF broadcast stations owned by Silver King Broadcasting Inc.
