A SUDANESE school office assistant has denied sparking the case four months ago against Liverpool teacher Gillian Gibbons.

She was convicted of insulting Islam for letting her six-year-old pupils name a teddy bear Mohammed, breaking Sudan's Sharia law, and was jailed for 15 days.
