AN 83-year-old Port Erin man has revealed he has a tape recording of private messages from the Manchester United Busby Babes recovering in a German hospital ward, after the 1958 Munich air disaster, which marked its 50th anniversary last week.
Roy Gough's tape includes jovial but heartfelt messages from Dennis Viollet, Bobby Charlton, Ray Wood, Kenny Morgans and Albert Scanlon to their families and wishing their team luck against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup that Saturday.
