PHANTOMS are basking in the glow of a whole host of notable successes at The Evening Telegraph Sports Awards.
The ice hockey club clearly captured the imagination of the Peterborough public during 2007 after receiving an avalanche of votes and walking off with no fewer than five accolades at the Holiday Inn Peterborough West on Friday night.
The Phantoms side came out on top in the Team of the Year category after a year of rapid improvement in the English Premier League during which Brent Gough stole the show out on the ice.
