Sequans Communications has said that Taiwan-based USI (Universal Scientific Industrial) has decided to use Sequans chips as a part of its solutions for producing Mobile WiMAX devices as well as SIP-based (system-in-package) modules.

USI, which has been making WiMAX devices since 2004, boasts extensive expertise in SIP module technology. It recently won a national invention and creation award from the Taiwanese government. ...
