LUNENBURG - Despite whiteout conditions at times, the Art of the Heart Art Lovers Fest went on as scheduled yesterday at the old primary school building in town center.
Youngsters and oldsters, grannies and high school students came to the venue to wander through the art and crafts offerings, to listen to the jazz and blues offerings of Jazz Depot, and enjoy a glass of wine or Valentine's Day treats.
The Lunenburg ArtsFest Committee repainted the gym of the 100-year-old building in preparation for the event.
"Instead of a dungeon-like gym, we have an inviting atmosphere now," said Gare Thompson, ArtsFest member.
