A customer threw beer in a pub chef's face before punching him in the face during an argument over his food.
Mark Myers, 45, of Wellesley Court, was in the Jenny Lind in the High Street when the altercation broke out.
Prosecutor David O'Driscoll said: "The chef went to speak to the defendant as there was a dispute over the food which had been served to him.
"When he offered a refund this was not accepted and the dish was taken away from the defendant.
"The chef asked the defendant to leave the premises. As he did so some of the food fell into his lap.
"The defendant threw a drink over the chef and punched him in the face ...
