DUBLINS attempt to get a place on a historic World Monopoly board maynot even pass go as it emerged yesterday that the capital has slipped down theleaderboard in the quest to find the globes top cities.
The first World Monopoly board is due to be manufactured later this year.However, only 20 capital cities will secure a place.
And yesterday Dublin was in 18th place on the leaderboard with 2.1 per cent ofthe vote.
Montreal in Canada is first with 3.9 per cent followed closely by Paris andLondon.
Voting began last month and Dublin quickly rose to an impressive sixth.
