Some of the most elegant collections thus far were presented on Fashion Week's second to final day. For fall 2008, Vera Wang was inspired by Dutch painter Kees van Dongen, who is known for his early 20th century paintings. The resulting collection balances colors, which range from charcoal to rust to almost neon yellow and proportion such as black dress with airy ruffles on the top. The good news is that there will likely be more accessible versions of these pieces available in Wang's line at Kohl's.
