When Premier Foods relocated production of Bird's Custard and other high-profile dessert products, the opportunity was taken to improve the process efficiency. A new bin feeder system from Guttridge was one of the investments that helped to achieve this goal.
In order to reach the desired efficiency level, Premier Foods specified that the new system should be capable of sieving at a rate of 50kg/min, elevate the sieved powder into large tote bins, manage a variety of powders with varying product characteristics, ensure the complete unit could be wheeled away into a designated cleaning area so that a second unit could quickly take ...
