RZD to select partner for joint venture in Transmashholding in H1
RIGA. Feb 14 (Interfax) - Russian Railways (RZD) (RTS: RZHD) plans to make a final choice of partners for a joint venture in Transmashholding, Russia's leading manufacturer of rolling stock for railroads and subways, in the first half of 2008, RZD head Vladimir Yakunin told journalists.
"We are negotiating with Siemens, Alstom and Bombardier," Yakunin said. "Which one we choose is a question for the talks. A decision will be made in the course of the first half," he said.
The documents concerning Bombardier's deal with Transmashholding were returned for revision on November 27. ...
