MORLEY under 11s beat Aireborough under 11s 45-35 in a game which produced a try fest that defied the peat bog conditions it was played in at Scatcherd Lane.
Although Aireborough did not have a full compliment of players, Morley were able to loan some of theirs which enabled everyone to get really wet and muddy.
Morley were on the attack straight away, recycling the ball and keeping possession for several phases. Alex Stevenson produced a cutting run from a scrum, followed by Lewis Starr's effort from a line-out. Next it was forward Luke Metcalfe stretching his legs.
