DETROIT, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) is arming 100 new dealers to sell alternative fuel vehicles with incentives of up to $3,255 as part of its plans to significantly increase sales of vehicles that run on natural gas, methanol, ethanol and propane in the next year.
As a result of a summer-long dealer outreach campaign, 100 Ford dealers have agreed to undergo the training and certification process to become AFV dealers. This is the first year Ford has actively sought AFV sales outside of California and Texas.
