Agarwal tapped as Apollo's head of manufacturing
GURGAON, India-Apollo Tyres Ltd. has promoted Satish Agarwal to chief, manufacturing, responsible for all manufacturing operations and functions for the Indian tire maker.
Agarwal joined the company in 2000 as unit head for Apollo's plant in Limda, Gujarat state.
In his new role, he will be based at the corporate headquarters outside New Delhi and be responsible for quality, corporate engineering and cost optimization of the firm's plants in India, South Africa and Zimbabwe, as well as other future facilities, Apollo said.
