SLEAFORD'S Playhouse theatre is not likely to follow the demise of Boston's Blackfriar's Arts Centre, which is to close in April it has been announced.
Blackfriars, one of the only independently run arts centres in the county, has been struggling since Arts Council England withdrew funded two years ago. Boston will be without an auditorium until a new one is built, possibly at Boston College.
