The chlor-alkali market saw a new push on caustic soda pricing, led by a $50/ton nomination announced by OxyChem. Dow Chemical, Olin, and Basic Chemicals Solutions matched OxyChem's increase, while Formosa Plastics nominated an increase of $80/ton. The industry's previous $75/ton increase wasn't fully implemented at all accounts, with contracts seeing increases ranging from $50- $75/ton.
