According to anba: Brazil has wonderful beaches, waterfalls, historic cities and gold and precious metal mines. A partnership between the Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals (IBGM) and the Ministry of Tourism wants to stimulate the visit of foreign tourists connected to the gold and precious stone business and also of professionals like geologists, gemmologists and even representatives of museums all around the world. The idea is to show these professionals that there is an extensive circuit of mines, reserves, mining grounds, jewelleries, museums and historic cities connected to mining.
