Although I've never wanted to do anything but farm, growing a crop the same way I did 20 years ago might get a little boring. The new tools and techniques I'm employing on my farm are keeping farming exciting-and helping raise yields. We need to keep pushing for higher yields because, while high corn and soybean prices bring their own excitement, input prices are going up, too.
