Whatever you want to say about Bob Smith, New Hampshire's former U.S. senator--now in self-imposed exile as a real estate broker in Florida--certainly has an interesting view of the world.

The former senator, who lost a bitter 2002 Republican primary to John E. Sununu after an ill-conceived attempt a few years earlier to run as an independent presidential candidate, had a hard time letting go of his feelings of abandonment by the state GOP.
