THE FRESHLY PATCHED M/V Cosco Busan has gone back into service, after the customs hold and other orders requiring the ship to stay in San Francisco were lifted by the U.S. Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard Captain of the Port previously directed the Cosco Busan to remain in port in order to ensure the ship's seaworthiness, the crew's proper training in bridge management in accordance with international standards, and that U.S. legal interests were protected.
