AMBITIOUS plans for a regional business centre and offices in West Bromwich, bringing 2,000 jobs and pounds 70 million investment, have taken a big step forward.
Sandwell Council has been given the go ahead to acquire key sites in the town.
The Government Office for the West Midlands has confirmed a compulsory purchase order on parts of All Saints, seven-acre site off Sandwell Road and Bratt Street fronting the Expressway.
The move means the council and its private sector strategic partner BT/Liberata can press ahead with plans for a 120,000 sq ft regional business centre which will house a range of IT and core ...
