TWO dogs were attacked within days of each other as they were being taken for a walk by their families in North Bay.
The almost identical attacks, which took place on the Scarborough beach, left both dog owners fearing their beloved pets would be killed.
Pamela Coles, 56, watched in horror as her five-month old black Labrador Lola was attacked by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
The incident happened just days after the Evening News reported the horrific injuries sustained by a 12-year-old spaniel called Duke, when it was attacked by a nine-stone Bullmastiff on the same beach.
