Feminism and cultural studies.

Feminism's main concern is with gender inequality or male dominance in the existing patriarchal system. The four books reviewed here reveal a new trend which is largely a result of the influence of cultural studies on feminism. Cultural studies, in breaking down the myths regarding multidisciplinarity by critiquing the disciplines, has transnationalized feminism. In doing so, it has broadened feminism's scope with regard to subject, methodology and purpose.
