TWINS who developed their own language which only they could understand have learned to speak English at last.
Two years ago Luke and Jack Ryan were able to talk to each other perfectly well - but no one else had a clue what they were saying, and even their mum and dad could not understand a word of their conversations.
The boys, then aged four, were believed to be experiencing idioglossia, or twin language, in which twins develop their own vocabulary.
Experts believe twin language can occur because of the time twins spend together.
Twins are also often born prematurely which can lead to delayed speech.
