HE HAS just a month or so left of the make-up, bright lights andbusiness suits of television before he can relax into an off-screen role.
But Evan Davis obviously couldn't wait until then to let his hair down.
The outgoing BBC economics editor appeared on the evening news on Sunday with arather startling mohawk-style cut.
With his shaved back and sides, and small thatch of springy hair on top, helooked rather like the renegade cabbie played by Robert De Niro in the 1976film Taxi Driver.
