Article: FEATURE/Corporate MIS Projects: Under budget and on time?

MONTVALE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE FEATURES)--Sept. 26, 1995--Less than half of management information systems (MIS) projects are under budget and on time, says the Controllers Council of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), which surveyed 420 companies.

According to the survey, 30 percent of controllers report that their companies' hardware/software implementation projects were over budget by an average of 23 percent.
