A COMPLETE record of the medals awarded to British soldiers from the First World War will go online for the first time today.
A total of 14 million medals were awarded to 5.5 million British and colonial soldiers for their bravery during the war. But for the past 90 years the only record of who they were awarded to and why, has been kept by the Army Medals Office.
