The debate about whether newspaper carrier Miguel Bustamante is a "suspect" or a "person of interest" in the wreck that severely injured 20-year-old Torey Moore in November appears to be an argument of legal semantics.
Eugene police last month identified Bustamante as the suspect in the Nov. 17 crash, citing physical evidence found at the scene. He previously had been hailed as a hero for calling 911 and staying with Moore after finding her un-conscious and covered in blood in the middle of Cal Young Road.
