BIGGAR author Fiona Gibson is signing copies of her new book 'Mummy Said The F-Word' tomorrow (Thursday).
The event, at the Elphinstone Hotel in Biggar, is being organised by local bookshop Atkinson-Pryce.
Fiona's fourth novel is more light hearted than her previous books.
And, speaking to the Gazette, she revealed the inspiration behind the novel.
She said: "It all came about when I was on the phone to a friend and I heard her son screaming 'daddy said the f-word' because he had unplugged his computer and a full days work was lost. I scribbled down the idea and took it from there.
