Wilton gave high flying Crayke a few scares in this Division Three fixture before bowing out with barely a whimper in the last quarter of the game.
With a depleted squad, this was always going to be a tough fixture so it was with some relief manager Scholefield saw the patched together defence of Turpin, Sleightholme, Hobson and Hennesay begin solidly and confidently, buoyed by Wilton's 'Peter Pan' of the penalty area, Ben Rawlings, delivering a few well placed rollickings.
Crayke were playing some neat football but didn't press when Wilton had possession and this allowed a few purple patches where Hunter ...
