BOYLSTON - The Boylston Cultural Council and state Senator Harriette Chandler have announced grants meant to benefit community programs, senior citizens and students.
In all, Chandler and Boylston Cultural Council Chairwoman Cynthia Duval announced 12 grants totaling $4,000, to be used for cultural programs benefiting Boylston residents.
The grants were awarded from a pool of funds distributed to cities and towns throughout the Commonwealth by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency that supports public programs and educational activities in the arts, sciences and humanities.
