Atlas Oil Co., Taylor, acquired the five Battle Creek-area gas station-convenience stores of R&J Inc.
Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer & Garin P.C., Bloomfield Hills, has acquired the Southfield law practice of Steven H. Malach. Malach, also the head of the Center for Estate Planning, will develop strategy for and lead the expansion of the estate planning practice at Lipson Neilson.
